Nabtesco Aerospace, Inc has an Quality Assurance Inspector position available in the Quality Assurance department of our Kirkland, Washington office.

Inspectors perform Receiving, In-process, and Final inspections of varying complexity, on aerospace components and assemblies. Utilize a variety of precision measurement and test equipment to determine product conformity. Provide shipping and inspection support and prepare a variety of inspection documents and certifications.

You will be part of a team that offer opportunities to develop your skills and experience. This position priority is receiving inspection and may involve In-Process inspection and final inspection.

Responsibilities

Inspections

Receiving inspection – verify compliance of items to drawings, purchase orders and specification requirements, record certificates and related documents in file records.

Miscellaneous Duties

Conduct in-house audits as required.

Follow department protocol for appropriate document control and maintenance.

Productivity standards

Productivity standards for this position are set by the Quality Assurance Manager, according to business need.

Required Education

High School Degree or equivalent

Preferred Experience / Qualification

Relevant experience and demonstrated proficiency in the use of standard inspection gauges, equipment, and test equipment in a receiving, inspection, maintenance, or production role.

Minimum 1 year of experience and demonstrated proficiency in Receiving Inspection.

Demonstrated aptitude to learn and perform In-Process and Final Inspection responsibilities as needed.

Demonstrated ability to read and interpret aerospace or medical manufacturer drawings.

Working knowledge of PC’s and applicable Microsoft software.

Knowledge of manufacturer’s component assembly instruction and maintenance manuals.

Has knowledge of and understands productivity standard times.

Knowledge/experience with Aerospace or Medical electrical, mechanical systems is beneficial.
